Dating from 1640 AD, Hotel & Restaurant Wurfeld has been a well-known and loved destination for it’s guests for decades.
With its picturesque location among a 2,5 ha private estate, fine dining cuisine and authentic interior, we didn’t have to look far to come up with some awesome marketing campaigns.

With a recent change in ownership it was time for the Castle to elevate its Branding and digital presence to modern day times.

Re-Branding

With every project we begin by looking at the basics, and the basics for each company is it's corporate identity.

Even though the goal was to modernize the logo, we felt it was important to remain loyal to its concept and heritage. You can find references to it on its crest.

From a new logo and complete new corporate identity to a more modern way of communication, we done it all.

Marketing

With the overwhelming amount of possibilities with such a beautiful business, we advised a complete overhaul of the current Marketing mix.

Ofcourse this started with an elevated level of new content creation and a big scale marketing campaign focused on the "Re-opening" and celebration of new ownership, and it was a huge sold-out success!

Together with the amazing staff we were able to achieve this succes purely organically, no paid ads or PR, no print-media and purely digital!

In today's world as a business, you better make sure you're well represented on social media, because your competition will be! Every business can only thrive with a happy customer base and a loyal social following.

It can take many years to build up a solid reputation, while it can take a couple of bad reviews for it all to come crashing down.

For this reason we always involve our client's social media in everything we do. From regular posts to boost engagement and brand recognition to special content that work in unison with special marketing campaigns.

New ownership is something to celebrate, especially when you’ve just became the owner of a beautiful historical Castle on a private estate. And that is exactly what we did!

Special events are an awesome and very effective way to promote your business while at the same time coming in very close contact with your target audience. This makes it a very effective oppertunity to learn priceless information about your target audience and establising a more personal connection with them.

After several very productive and positive meetings with the new ownership, we put together a complete strategy and plan for a big scale opening celebration event that would take place in 4 weeks.

An exclusive menu, exclusive cocktails, live music, improving decoration and ambiance, a mystery gift + voucher for all the guests, management over internal communications, promotions, etc; we took every aspect of this special event under our management and it was a huge succes!

By using a combination of Social Media marketing, Email marketing, Content marketing and other non-paid/organic marketing tactics, we were able to sell out the entire event within 2 weeks!

Re-Branding

In Japan it is a common saying that if your “Kihon 基本, きほん” (Fundamentals) isn’t perfected, it’s no use pursuing anything beyond that.

Kihon means the basics, Fundamentals, and at Granseal we also believe that if the fundamentals of your company meaning your Branding / Corporate identity, aren’t adequate, it’s always a waste of resources and time to pursue anything else.

The fundamentals of your company are the tree from which everything grows, and as long as any aspect of your Branding isn’t up to par, it will negatively influence anything else you do.

This also means a Re-Branding project is always an amazing opportunity to shed a fresh light on the positive transformation your business is making and is something that will generate alot of engagement, brand recognition and brand awareness.

It was an amazing honor for us to design a new modernized version of Castle Wurfeld’s logo and branding while staying loyal to its original concept and heritage.

 

Recruitment-Marketing

The current Jobmarket has a bigger supply of open positions than the demand for them. This means Jobseekers have an overwhelming amount of possibilities and offers.

The simple fact is; job seekers need you less, than you need them. In such a highly competitive job market it’s essential to position and present employment at your company as attractive as possible.

With the honor of representing a beautiful and historical business as Castle Wurfeld, we took complete management and oversight on the entire recruitment-campaign and recruitment itself for 3 new positions.

With 90% organic marketing strategies we were able to fill the required positions in record breaking time. By using all relevant social media platforms, job boards, email marketing, content marketing and recruitment marketing in general; Castle Wurfeld now has 4 additional highly motivated employees among its staff.

Besides the recruitment-marketing, we took complete responsibility over the application process itself as well. This means communication with all applicants, screening and filtering and holding all interviews among all stages of the application. We always advise on our complete involvement in the entire recruitment process to ensure top quality untill the moment of employment.
